During that update I updated to a more recent 1.7 and 1.8, and let the installer remove an older 1,7 and 1.6. Direct calls to "%SystemRoot%\system32\java.exe" will no longer work since the installer now creates symlimks to the executables in "%ProgramData%\Oracle\Java\javapath". I have had a couple of issues since I created another workspace for my Java projects.
