Anyway, I decided to check what firmware is now available….given that I have only updated the firmware to v1.43 (Shonk's mod) recently. Around the same time. Switched it off and attached it to my PC via ethernet cable and was able to access it ok. The LED indicating light get stuck in the yellow mode and refuse to budge. what region is it for ???

RAID arrays can fail. If your firmware is already version 1.68 or later, you do not need this update. Buffalo should at least give us the opportunity to decide for ourselves if we actually wanted to upgrade the firmware. This software updates the LinkStation firmware to version 1.01. Most likely the Nas Navigator is not up to date and does not know how to handle the message from the unit and is giving you the unknown error.

They could have at least named the error as "Firmware I52" instead of "Unknown Error".
