I Replace it with a new an original one and doesn´t work…Hate Brother Company. The appendage blocks the light and that signals the electronics that the door is closed. Not really an answer but the theory of why it works. All of the same symptoms as what's described with the "back cover open" error. have a peek here

We did blow out and clean whole machine and drum - still the error.Help!!! Brother Printer Problems And Solutions Cannot find any reference to it in the manual or on the web site. I could only remove the paper by first removing the toner cartridge. An unexpected error occured.

the only 2 pages i got to print were when I pulled the paper above those two peices of metal!! Remove the drum and take off a little pastic cover on the left side of the drum (it is on the upper left part as you take it out of the navigate here Do not rub and do not wipe back and forth - only wipe in one direction. Printing again for now. Still getting the toner error? Brother Printers

We are now investigating the problem. The big reason I bought this printer was for low consumables cost. The grid and wire are part of the cleaning and preparation procedure conducted in the drum unit. Carefully wipe down the metal wires to remove excessive toner9.
After that the machine should go to a ready state. Drum error messages continued, and I assumed that I needed to clean the drum unit again. It's where it belongs. this contact form BUT I still have machine that will not pull the paper thru!
